Objective of the study is to develop a conceptual model of the process of improving human resources in physical education.
Methods and structure of the study. The theoretical modelling method was used. The model was constructed based on the generalisation of data from preliminary theoretical and empirical studies using methods of theoretical analysis and generalisation, systematisation and classification of scientific information, expert assessment and social survey methods, as well as mathematical statistics. The research methodology consists of two blocks. The first block includes a generalisation of the existing theoretical and methodological basis, outlined in the materials in the form of strategic concepts (groups of industry human resources; functions of physical culture; axioms of the process of improving human resources in physical culture; laws, patterns and principles). The second block defines its scientific novelty and sets the basis for determining the practical significance that can be achieved by introducing tactical constructs into the real process of physical culture functioning at the regional level.
Results and conclusions. As a result of theoretical and empirical research, the organisational and pedagogical conditions, content-related and target-oriented directions, and technological algorithm of the process of improving human resources in physical culture have been identified and revealed. The technological essence of the conceptual model of the process of improving human resources in physical culture is embodied in a stage-by-stage algorithm of activities, and the selection and rules for the implementation of content-methodological tools are determined by a set of organisational and pedagogical conditions.
