Objective of the study is to identify the characteristics of psychophysiological compatibility among qualified athletes in rhythmic gymnastics group exercise teams with varying degrees of experience in joint sporting activities.
Methods and structure of the study. Two teams of rhythmic gymnastics group exercise athletes with different levels of experience in joint sports activities participated in the scientific work: team No. 1 had no experience in joint sports activities; team No. 2 had been performing together for two years. To determine the components of psychophysiological compatibility, a battery of tests was used to assess reaction time and object tracking in team mode.
Results and conclusions. The study revealed shorter visual-motor reaction times, reaction times to moving objects, fewer errors in complex visual-motor reactions, and greater effectiveness in joint object tracking for teams with experience in joint actions, which ensures the quality of competitive exercises.
