Risk management in the provision of physical culture and health services

Objective of the study is to identify the basic risks of organising the provision of physical culture and health services and to develop recommendations for improving the system for managing them.
Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work is based on the application of the scientific foundation of a set of theories: risk management, service sector economics, and the theory of providing physical culture and health services. The authors use methods of content analysis of scientific literature on the research topic, as well as technology for identifying and managing risks.
Results and conclusions. The risks associated with the functioning and development of organisations providing physical culture and health services have been identified and substantiated, and recommendations for their neutralisation have been given. The authors argue that the main risks for organisations providing physical culture and health services are: the likelihood of a decrease in asset liquidity and an increase in liabilities; the risk of losing customers in the face of price competition; the threat of a decline in demand for fitness services as a result of seasonal fluctuations in demand and dependence on supplies of expensive foreign equipment, etc. The results of the study can be used to improve the activities of a wide range of economic entities in the field of physical culture and health services by forecasting potential risks and identifying actual risks, using effective methods and developing measures to neutralise them.
