The purpose of the study is to develop and test a set of exercises aimed at improving the technical fitness of young football players aged 8-9 years, as well as to evaluate its effectiveness in the educational and training process.
Research methodology and organization The scientific work was carried out in the initial training groups of football departments of children's and youth sports schools, where boys aged 8-9 years old were involved, 27 young athletes who regularly attend training sessions at least three times a week took part in the work.
The methodology was based on a set of exercises that included consistent training in receiving and passing the ball, developing dribbling skills and beating an opponent in one-on-one and two-on-two situations [1]. The exercises had increasing coordination difficulty and involved constant movement of the players, the use of both methods, as well as game interactions. Special attention was paid to the formation of the ability to control the ball in conditions of time and space constraints, which is closest to real game practice.
The results of the study and their discussion. The use of a set of exercises ensured a positive trend in the technical readiness of the players. After 6 months of regular practice, the number of receiving and passing errors decreased, dribbling efficiency and confidence in ball handling increased.
In the transmission accuracy test, the number of successful attempts increased from 5.1 to 7.6, and the chip-skirting dribbling time decreased from 14.8 to 12.3 seconds. In one-on-one game situations, the percentage of successful players increased from 38.7% to 62.1%, and ball control improved from 8.4 to 13.1 touches without loss. Thus, the set of exercises has proven effective, contributing to the development of technical skills, independence and activity of young football players at an early stage of training.
Conclusion. The conducted research has confirmed that learning techniques at the age of 8-9 plays a crucial role in shaping the skills of football players. The use of a set of exercises, including receiving and passing the ball, dribbling and beating the opponent, made it possible to increase the accuracy, speed and reliability of game actions. The results obtained give grounds to recommend the developed set of exercises for the practice of sports schools, since it is possible to improve the quality of reserve training and create conditions for further growth of athletes' skills.
