Objective of the study is to methodologically substantiate the system of approaches and principles for creating a model of personal development of young people by means of physical education and sports in the system of additional education implemented in the conditions of an educational organization.
Methods and structure of the study. This study is of a theoretical and methodological nature and is aimed at developing the foundations for creating a model of personal development of young people by means of physical education and sports in the system of additional education implemented in the conditions of an educational organization, and not at its empirical testing.
The main methods of the study were the theoretical analysis of scientific sources in order to identify and systematize existing theoretical provisions, concepts, approaches; systematization and conceptual synthesis; methodological modeling was carried out in order to develop the structure and content of the methodological foundations for creating a model as a conceptual scheme of activity.
Results and conclusions. As a result, the integration of three methodological approaches was substantiated: philosophical, viewed through the prism of humanization of education, setting value-semantic and ethical foundations; convergent, implemented through the synthesis of concepts of digital transformation of additional education and adaptive-compensatory focus of physical education and sports, ensuring the technological and flexible application of forms and technologies of physical education for various contingents of students; anthropocentric, focusing the design on the uniqueness and integrity of the student's personality. A theoretically substantiated system of methodological approaches and concepts forms a scientific foundation for the creation of effective, scientifically sound and practice-oriented models of personal development of young people by means of physical education and sports in the context of additional physical education.
