Objective of the study to track the dynamics of cognitive and motor abilities in students who have started football training.
Methods and structure of the study. In the course of the study, 45 male students of the first year of the university were observed. They were divided according to the level of their further physical activity into a group of football players (n=23) and a control group (n=22). The observation was carried out for 6 months. Initially and at the end of the observation, the cognitive and motor abilities were assessed, followed by mathematical processing of the results.
Results and conclusions. Regular football training sessions, which were harmoniously integrated into the daily routine of a modern student, proved to be effective in promoting their physical development. The systematic team training sessions, conducted according to a publicly available schedule, activated their mental and physical performance, toned their entire bodies, and contributed to their overall development, which was crucial for their educational activities.
