Correction of physical fitness of firstyear students, taking into account the functioning of the cardiovascular system

Objective of the study is to evaluate the adaptive capabilities of the cardiovascular system (CVS) of first-year students and develop physical training programs to improve their performance.
Methods and structure of the study. To assess the functional state of the cardiovascular system (CVS) 250 students aged 17-20 years (130 girls and 120 boys) The Roufier test method was used, followed by the calculation of the CCC functioning index (IFCC).
Results and conclusions. The study showed that a significant proportion of first-year students, both girls (82.8%) and boys (66.6%), have a low or very low index of the functional state of the cardiovascular system. The recovery of the pulse after physical exertion (on average 99.6 beats per minute for girls and 98.5 beats per minute for boys after a minute of rest) indicates a weak ability of the body to adapt to stress. At the same time, there was no statistically significant difference between the indicators of boys and girls (t=0.38, p<0.05). It is believed that low IVS in most first-year students is a consequence of insufficient physical activity during school years and increases the risk of developing problems with adaptation to new conditions and diseases of the cardiovascular system. In this regard, it is proposed to develop individual aerobic training programs that take into account the level of IFNS and monitor the dynamics of the pulse.
