Pegboarding as a means of improving students' overall physical fitness

Objective of the study is to identify the effectiveness of pegboard training and its impact on the level of overall physical fitness of those involved.
Methods and structure of the study. The study involved two groups of amateur athletes (14 people each) aged 23 to 29 years old, working in the same organization. Pegboard training was aimed at increasing the intensity by increasing the volume of exercises. The program included the sequential development of exercises: from horizontal movements to vertical interceptions, climbing and climbing routes on a pegboard, with an emphasis on speed and time limits.
Results and conclusions. The experimental group achieved a more significant improvement in overall physical fitness in two tests compared to the control group. Presumably, this is due to the fact that pegboard classes evoked positive emotions in the participants of the experimental group and supported the competitive spirit, stimulating them to improve their results. The opportunity to try their hand at wall climbing exercises also helped to increase interest in training.
