The purpose of the study is to substantiate the mechanisms for advancing the professional career of highly qualified athletes in the context of sanctions pressure in sports from the standpoint of the anthroposociogenic approach.
Methodology and organization of the study. Based on systemic functionalism, the understanding of the essence of anthroposociogenesis and its use in explaining the mechanisms for implementing a professional career in the context of sanctions pressure is substantiated. The scientific source base posted on the cyberleninka.ru platform was used as information content.
Results of the study and conclusions. Anthroposociogenesis is the process of becoming a human being as a biosocial being, which includes interrelated aspects of biological evolution, sociocultural development and individual development of the personality. In the context of a sports career, this means that an athlete's success is determined not only by his physical data, but also by social, cultural and psychological factors that are formed in the process of his development and interaction with the environment. These factors act as driving forces for advancing a sports career in increasingly complex social conditions. Based on the theory of anthroposociogenesis, today's political sanctions, despite their negative nature, can become a catalyst for finding new ways and opportunities for the development of Russian sports. At the same time, an athlete, being part of society and endowed with personal qualities, having managed to effectively adapt to the conditions of uncertainty, is able to realize a successful sports career.
