Objective of the study to justify the inclusion of a hybrid serve in the classification of serves in volleyball based on the study of the psychophysiological states of qualified players when performing serves and a description of the phase structure of the technique.
Methods and structure of the study. For the analysis, vibration graphics technology was used using the VibraMed software in TURBO mode. The psychoemotional status of the volleyball players was assessed immediately before the serve, success rates and the type of serve (accurate, powerful or mixed) were recorded. The psychophysiological characteristics of 12 volleyball players with the KMS sports category who participated in the Russian Men's Volleyball Championship were studied.
Results and conclusions. Studies show that when using power and hybrid serves, there is an increase in indicators of the psychophysiological state, such as aggression and energy. It has been established that the hybrid serve, due to its complex coordination structure necessary for the player's actions in a non‑supporting position, improves self‑regulation and balance. A pattern has been found: with the increasing complexity of the feeding technique, there is a marked decrease in the variability of parameters characterizing balance and self‑regulation. The analysis of the phase structure of the hybrid feeding technique allowed us to identify two different variants of its implementation: a hybrid feeding with a predominance of the planning element and a hybrid feeding with an emphasis on the power component. It is proposed to supplement the existing classification of serves in volleyball by including a hybrid serve, represented by the two above‑mentioned methods of execution.
