Objective of the study. To develop and test the effectiveness of individual physical rehabilitation programs for football players with knee injuries.
Methods and structure of the study. The study was conducted in Melitopol city polyclinic No. 1, on the basis of a medical and physical education dispensary (Melitopol). 15 athletes of football players from 2020 to 2024 were under observation. The sonography data was analyzed, the Oxford Knee Joint Scale and the Knee Joint Assessment Scale were used. After the initial examination of the athletes, taking into account their clinical and functional indicators, individual physical rehabilitation programs were developed: a complex of therapeutic gymnastics, physiotherapy procedures and massage.
Results and conclusions. The physical rehabilitation program was carried out in three stages: gentle, functional, and training. At the stages of rehabilitation, tasks were solved, starting with the prevention of contracture in the knee joint, strengthening the muscles of the limb, and up to the complete restoration of the neuromuscular apparatus and professional athletic performance. The effectiveness of the measures carried out was confirmed by the positive dynamics of the studied indicators.
