Objective of the study is to evaluate the role of physical culture in the formation of personality and a healthy lifestyle.
Methods and structure of the study. The experiment involved students of 5th grade "B" of St. Petersburg Secondary School No. 6. The study showed that physical culture and sports have a significant impact on the formation of a well-rounded personality and a healthy lifestyle. Participation in sports and physical training promotes the development of physical qualities such as strength, endurance and flexibility, as well as contributes to maintaining physical activity. In addition, physical activity promotes the development of psychological qualities, including consciousness, discipline, self-confidence and the ability to manage their emotions. Knowledge about healthy eating contributed to the maintenance or reduction of body weight in students and the formation of proper eating habits.
