The influence of physical culture and sports on the process of forming a comprehensively developed personality and a healthy lifestyle of a person

Objective of the study is to create, develop and implement a computer model for calculating and analyzing competition results with the function of converting primary data into a point system using Microsoft Excel software.
Methods and structure of the study. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Physical Education of Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin. The technical conditions for the developed program included: the ability to simultaneously record results in nine disciplines; automatic conversion of time and quantity indicators into points and calculation of the average value with rounding to an integer; taking into account the gender and age of participants in calculations; preventing accidental changes to the original data in the "Standards" section; providing the user with the ability to enter only general information about the participants and the actual competition results.
Results and conclusions. The results of the work demonstrate that the proposed method for processing competition results in Microsoft Excel makes it possible to register them for several types at once, taking into account gender and age characteristics; automatically converts results from time and number categories into points and calculates the arithmetic mean, rounding to an integer; prevents accidental changes to the original data; can be adapted for various sports due to the ease of changing the information on the "Standards" sheet. The product was successfully tested from 2021 to 2024 at the A.S. Pushkin Leningrad State University during entrance exams in the subject of "Physical Education" with the registration of results in nine types.
