Objective of the study is aimed at identifying the specifics of heart rate control and autonomic control during orthostatic testing in young short-track athletes aged 14 years in the pre-competition training phase.
Methods and structure of the study. 22 male short-track athletes who reached the age of 14 participated in the preliminary competitive stage of the study. Both temporal (MxDMn, RMSSD, SI) and spectral (TP, HF, LF, VLF) parameters were recorded using the Varicard 2.51 complex and ISCIM-6 software. Mathematical and statistical methods were applied for further processing and analysis of the data obtained.
Results and conclusions. The average values of temporal and spectral parameters for 14-year-old short-track athletes in clinostasis are significantly higher than the standard values for adolescents who do not engage in sports, as well as significantly higher than young athletes of the same age in other sports. An assessment of vegetative reactivity using an orthostatic assay revealed a hyperreactive reaction to orthostasis. It is shown that it is advisable to carry out a deeper and more objective assessment of the functional state of the body based on personalized data on heart rate variability. Performing a short-term anaerobic glycolytic load demonstrates the tolerance of training loads and reserves of adaptation. After a short-term load, the tension in the regulatory systems increases dramatically, which is manifested by a paradoxical reaction to orthostasis.
