Objective of the study. To assess the extent to which cycling reserve team coaches are proficient in regulatory documentation, planning and monitoring methods, and the degree to which they utilize digital tools in athlete development.
Methods and structure of the study.. The study was based on a survey and questionnaire conducted among 90 cycling coaches and specialists from 22 regions of the Russian Federation, using a specially developed questionnaire covering key aspects of their professional activities.
Results and conclusions. The results indicate a fairly high level of awareness among coaches and specialists regarding basic regulatory documents and their ability to perform annual and current planning; however, they reveal insufficient competence in periodic planning and limited use of digital tools necessary for effective organization and monitoring of the training process for reserve athletes.
