Objective of the study is aimed at studying the effectiveness of developing personalized physical training programs for professional climbers, taking into account model characteristics.
Methods and structure of the study. The study involved 34 male climbers representing the Russian national team and specializing in high-speed climbing. All athletes have experience of participating in international competitions and are winners of national and world championships, championships and cups.
Results and conclusions. The results of the work demonstrate that various applications of model characteristics within the framework of the macrocycle make it possible to create a variety of individual programs that can serve as a tool for planning physical activity. The results of a 14-month experiment involving climbers with sports grades from KMS to MS and above are presented. The effectiveness of an individual approach based on model characteristics of general and special physical training of climbers specializing in high-speed climbing has been confirmed.
