Influence of the journal "Teoriya i praktika fizicheskoy kultury" on the development of professional education in the field of physical culture and sport

Objective of the study aims to identify the features and trends of professional training in the field of physical education and sports. For this purpose, a content analysis of modern articles published in the journal "Theory and Practice of Physical Education" was conducted.
Methods and structure of the study. The research method used was a content analysis of the latest publications (2020-2024) in the journal "Theory and Practice of Physical Education" devoted to issues of professional education in the field of physical education and sports.
Research results and conclusions. The results of the analysis demonstrate that the modern development of sports education focuses the attention of higher education institutions on the need for significant modernization of the educational process. The analysis of relevant articles allows us to identify key areas of research in the field of professional training in the field of physical education and sports. These include: the unification of various types of activities and interdisciplinary integration in the process of training specialists; adaptability and diversity of modern education, expressed in the formation of a wide range of competencies; personal and professional development that stimulates the creative realization of teachers; interaction of future teachers with the educational environment, considered as a mutually beneficial exchange that influences professional development; use of distance technologies and electronic resources in education; assessment of the quality of personnel training; expansion and differentiation of the content of educational programs, as well as ensuring the continuity of education at different levels.
