Personal characteristics of volleyball players of different levels of sports qualification in the structure of psychological training

Objective of the study was to determination of personal characteristics of student volleyball players depending on their level of athletic qualifications.
Methods and structure of the study. Volleyball players from the teams of universities (n=30) took part in the research. The participants were divided into 3 groups of 10 people from the 2nd adult category to CMS. The main research methods were: «questionnaire of self-organization of activity (OSA)», «level of subjective control (LSC)», «Eysencks personality questionnaire» and a program test for a simple motor reaction. For statistical processing, the Mann-Whitney U-criterion was used.
Results and conclusions. Significant differences have been established between volleyball players of different qualifications in terms of general self-organization, self-attitude to achievements, failures and health, as well as the speed of a simple motor reaction. These studies allow us to determine the targeted impact on the education of the individual within the framework of long-term sports training of volleyball players.
