Objective of the study was to identification of hemodynamic reactions to the orthostatic test of martial arts athletes from Yakutia.
Methods and structure of the study. The analysis of hemodynamic reactions was carried out on the basis of classification of types of arterial pressure reactions to the orthostatic test: hypotonic, normotonic and hypertonic. The study included 84 male athletes specializing in various types of martial arts. An orthostatic test was carried out to assess the adaptation of the cardiovascular system.
Results and conclusions. The majority of athletes (94%) had a normal hemodynamic response of HR. The predominant type of SBP response was normotonic (94%), while hypertonic (2,4%) and hypotonic (3,6%) responses were rare. Normal DBP response was observed in 64,3% of athletes, hypertonic response in 27,4%, and hypotonic response in 8,3%. It was found that the cardiovascular system of most athletes demonstrates effective adaptation to orthostatic load. At the same time, deviations from the normal hemodynamic response were detected in some of the subjects, especially with respect to diastolic blood pressure and HR. The data obtained can be used to develop individual approaches to assessing and correcting the identified hemodynamic adaptation disorders in order to optimize the training process and prevent cardiovascular diseases in martial artists.
