Objective of the study was to develop and experimentally test the effectiveness of a health improvement program for students with musculoskeletal disorders (scoliosis, poor posture) using health fitness.
Methods and structure of the study. The research involved first-year full-time students of the special medical health group "A" with diseases of the musculoskeletal system (n=44). A program for improving the health of students was developed, based on a special selection of exercises that provide a local effect on certain muscle groups, promoting the development of physical abilities that allow correcting the deficiencies in the physical development of those involved.
Results and conclusions. The proposed program for improving the health of students contributed to strengthening the muscular-ligamentous apparatus, as well as increasing muscle strength, strengthening the muscular corset and developing physical abilities. It is concluded that regular physical education classes using health fitness programs help maintain physical fitness and improve health. This is especially important for students with mobility problems of the musculoskeletal system and muscular dystrophy.
