Objective of the study was to development and substantiation of a set of adaptive physical education tools aimed at developing the motor abilities and psychophysiological characteristics of children with sensory impairments, taking into account their individual needs and the specifics of sensory limitations.
Methods and structure of the study. The experimental work was carried out on the basis of a specialized educational institution where children with disabilities and sensory impairments study. The children were divided into control and experimental groups. The developed methodology included the following main areas: exercises for the development of motor coordination, adaptive outdoor games - specially developed game exercises that take into account the individual needs of children with sensory impairments.
Results and conclusions. The use of adapted means and methods of AFC has a positive effect on the development of motor skills and psychophysiological characteristics of students with sensory impairments. Analysis of the dynamics of indicators shows that the participants of the experimental group have a significant improvement in physical fitness, which is expressed in the growth of strength, endurance, coordination and speed of motor reaction.
