Methodology of physical education and health classes outside of school hours based on the sports team game laser tag

Objective of the study was to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a methodology for physical education and health classes outside of school hours based on the sports team game laser tag.
Methods and structure of the study. The research was conducted at the MCOU «Secondary School No. 2» in Smolensk, in which 30 schoolchildren (boys) from the 6th grade took part, who were divided into two groups: control (CG), (n=15) and experimental (EG), (n=15). Outside of school hours, students in the experimental group studied 2 times a week according to the working program of the team sports game laser tag, the control group - according to the working program of «General physical training».
Results and conclusions. The implementation of the developed methodology of physical education and health classes during extracurricular hours based on the sports and team game laser tag in practice makes it possible to increase the interest and involvement of students in physical education and health activities, which allows increasing the number of schoolchildren systematically engaged in physical education.
