Objective of the study was to evaluate the contribution of leading Moscow scientists to the development of sports science at KBSU.
Methods and structure of the study. An analysis of the historical path of development of sports science at KBSU was conducted based on archival materials from the university’s Faculty of Physical Education.
Results and conclusions. It is shown that the joint activities of leading Moscow scientists to expand the range of scientific research at KBSU allowed to significantly improve the quality of the organization of scientific research work of the staff of the Faculty of Physical Education, to attract a large number of master's and postgraduate students to scientific research. At present, close cooperation is effectively implemented in many innovative scientific projects of educational organizations of Kabardino-Balkaria and is reflected in the increase in the number of highly professional scientific and pedagogical personnel at the university.
