Formation of professionally significant personal qualities of cadets of universities of the federal penitentiary service of Russia through applied physical training

The purpose of the study is to identify the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professionally significant personal qualities of cadets of universities of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia through applied physical training.
Methodology and organization of research. The goal was achieved through the analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, analysis and generalization of pedagogical experience and the results of their own practical activities. The study was conducted on the basis of the Perm Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia as part of the implementation of the academic discipline "Applied Physical Training". The content of this discipline includes the following sections: theoretical and methodological training, general physical training, special physical training.
Research results and conclusions. The means of applied physical training have a high potential for the development of professionally significant personal qualities of cadets, and the organizational and pedagogical conditions proposed by the authors create prerequisites for improving the effectiveness of professional and personal development of future employees of penitentiary institutions.
