Objective of the study was to identify the trend that determines the attitude of students of sports universities to distance learning technologies.
Methods and structure of the study. A pilot sociological study was conducted among 4th-year full-time students of the RUS «GCOLIFK» majoring in «Physical Education» in 2023 and 2024. The survey involved 229 people in 2023 and 229 people in 2024. The age of the respondents was 19-33 years in 2023, 20-30 years in 2024. The survey is aimed at identifying the opinions (assessments) of respondents in relation to the use of distance learning technologies in a sports university. Students were asked to answer the questionnaire.
Results and conclusions. The conducted pilot sociological study allowed us to identify a trend that determines the attitude of students of sports universities to distance learning technologies. Students like the use of distance learning technologies in 2023 (58,5%), 2024 (61,3%) and their interest in them does not decrease. According to respondents, the quality of education is higher if the university uses a blended learning format (distance and offline learning) - 58,9% (equal percentage in 2023 and 2024). The majority of students in both 2023 and 2024 believe that it is undesirable for the university to conduct all classes remotely - 60,3% and 64,1%, respectively. It is also undesirable for all classes at the university to be conducted only offline - 55% in 2023, 61,6% in 2024. Students largely prefer to conduct lectures remotely - 60,3% (2023) and 64,1% (2024) and actively oppose remote seminars - 82,1% (2023) and 84,3% (2024). The results of the sociological survey demonstrate a conscious and responsible approach of students to the quality of the education they receive, a high interest in the use of distance educational technologies - on the one hand, on the other hand - students realize the importance and significance of a live dialogue between them and the teacher, between the students themselves in offline mode.
