Diversification of the structure of psychological and pedagogical support of physical education classes for female university students

Objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of diversifying the structure of psychological and pedagogical support for physical education classes based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the functional, physical and psycho-emotional state of female university students.
Methods and structure of the study. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the functional, physical and psycho-emotional state of female students was carried out on the basis of methods: oral and online surveys, pedagogical and psychological testing. The study involved 210 female students, 1st-3rd year, universities: Don State Technical University (DSTU) and the North-Western Institute of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) from two regions of the Russian Federation, average age at the time of the study, 18.2 years old, the experiment lasted 9 months. During the experiment, the following methods were used: traditional – «Aerobics» (in the form of fitness technology), «Stretching», innovative – «Autotraining», «Breathing workshop» and «Music therapy».
Results and conclusions. The experiments showed a significant improvement in the results of the functional, physical and psycho-emotional state, with the exception of two indicators out of eight studied. Indicators in the psycho-emotional state especially increased - positive dynamics of good health, mood and activity were noted, and there was also a decrease in personal anxiety to a result of moderate intensity. The results obtained indicate that psychological and pedagogical support adapted for practical classes in physical education with 1st-3rd year students is effective.
