Objective of the study was to identify indicators of special physical fitness of goalkeepers in bandy who are at the stage of sports specialization.
Methods and structure of the study. Scientific work was carried out at the regional sports school of the Olympic reserve in bandy (Ulyanovsk) over two calendar seasons 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 25 goalkeepers at the stage of sports specialization took part in pedagogical control tests, as part of training groups of 1.5 years of sports training (age 11-15 years). Four motor tests were used on skates in full equipment: speed skating over a distance of 17 m; skating from a place straight and back backwards, two times 17 m; catching the ball, 20 shots from the hockey marking line “radius – 17 m”; throwing the ball from a running start, from the hockey marking line “radius – 17 m”, to a distance.
Results and conclusions. Analysis of the test results revealed that there are certain differences in the parameters of effectiveness (success) of performing a separate motor control exercise (expressed as a percentage) among the tested goalkeepers of the training groups of 1.5 years of training. The running tests were performed least successfully (test performance varies from 13 to 43%). Higher results were recorded in the “catching the ball” test and in the “throwing the ball” test (the success rate varies from 57 to 100%).
