Introduction. Dosed consumption of physical activity in conditions of asthenia, regardless of the cause of its occurrence, optimizes the parameters of the body [1]. Positive changes are associated with stimulation of the main biochemical and physiological processes during muscle loads [2]. The most relevant is the assessment of the impact of regular armsport classes on the body of young men with asthenia after they suffered an acute viral respiratory infection.
The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of regular armsport training on young men who were asthenized as a result of a viral respiratory infection.
Methodology and organization of the study. 25 teenage university students (18-20 years old) with Asthenic syndrome as a result of an acute viral respiratory infection suffered about a week ago were monitored. Of these, 12 young men voluntarily started armsport training twice a week, making up the main group. The remaining 13 people wished to maintain their usual physically inactive lifestyle. A control group was formed from them. The teenagers of both groups were monitored for two months. The assessment of the condition of the subjects was carried out by standard functional tests with data processing by the Student's t-criterion.
Research results and their discussion. At the first observations, the development of endurance, strength, speed and coordination parameters in the boys taken under observation turned out to be small. In the control group, by the end of the observation, the parameters under consideration remained without significant dynamics, and signs of asthenia persisted. Adolescents of the main group did not have asthenia at the end of the observation. Their speed parameters increased by 20.1%, power capabilities increased by 17.2%, coordination characteristics improved by 19.1% and endurance increased by 16.9%.
Conclusion. Regular armsport classes lead asthenized youth students to a marked increase in physical capabilities. After two months of regular armsport training, asthma sufferers' endurance decreases and increases, as well as speed, strength and coordination characteristics. The avoidance of physical exertion kept the studied indicators at an initially low level in the control group.
