Introduction. In practice, police officers often face situations of group attack. However, currently, in the physical training of police officers, there is no theoretically sound and proven educational and methodological support for their tactical and technical training to protect them from a group attack.
The purpose of the study is to identify and substantiate the rules of tactical actions of police officers in situations of protection from a group attack.
Methodology and organization of the study. The study was conducted in 2023 on the basis of the Tyumen Institute for Advanced Training of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Representatives of the experimental group were trained in techniques and tactics of protection against group attack as part of the training program for the professional training of persons in the position of an employee of the "Policeman".
The results of the study and their discussion. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the greatest importance is given to the technique of protection from group attack in aikido. One of the areas of Aikido practiced for training law enforcement agencies in Serbia and many other countries is Real Aikido. In this area of Aikido development, protection from group attack is almost the main criterion for a fighter's compliance with a master degree. Real Aikido has developed rules for tactical and technical actions of a fighter in defense against a group attack. Of great importance is the technique of movement of the defender, which allows him to practically not stop throughout the entire combat and at the same time constantly perform grabs of opponents for various parts of the body in order to unbalance him. Constantly moving, unbalanced opponents prevent each other from attacking the defender [1]. Based on this Real Aikido tactic, the rules of tactical actions of police officers in the event of a group attack situation were developed and justified. The basic rules are: constant movement of an employee as a target, in order to make it harder to hit her with any blow; moving towards one of the attackers to make it difficult for all attackers to attack at once; counterattacking actions unexpected for one of the attackers, and using his body as a shelter, blocking the trajectories of other attackers.
Conclusion. The results of the study revealed the effectiveness of using the martial art of Aikido (Real Aikido) to develop and justify the rules of tactical actions of police officers in the event of a group attack situation.
