Relay race games as a means of developing speed and agility in senior preschool children

Objective of the study was to identify the influence of relay races with a non-traditional division of the hall and different formations of participants on the development of speed and agility.
Methods and structure of the study. The selection, analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature on the research topic, organization and conduct of testing, and mathematical processing of the results were carried out.
Results and conclusions. The effectiveness of using relay games with a non-traditional division of the hall in the development of speed and agility in children of senior preschool age was determined. The results of the study can be used for work in preschool institutions, in junior classes in secondary schools, as well as in the educational and training process of sports and recreational groups of the first year of study in sports schools by type of sport.
