Sports sphere of Transnistria: structural and organizational dimension

Objective of the study was to identify opportunities for the development of physical culture and sports in Transnistria based on an analysis of content published by the media.
Methods and structure of the study. During the analysis, materials from electronic journals and resources devoted to covering events in the field of physical culture and dispute, and publishing official statistical data and regulatory documentation in this area, were studied.
Results and conclusions. The article presents analytical information on the employment of the population in sports in Transnistria and sports infrastructure. Emphasis is placed on the development of new areas of sports activity, such as e-sports. The peculiarities of the legal regulation of the Pridnestrovian Republic in the field of sports are noted.
It is concluded that Transnistria, which claims international recognition, forms not only state institutions, but also pays great attention to the development of physical culture and sports. The materials presented in this article are part of the empirical base that allows scientists studying sports media to use them when generalizing their materials.
