Objective of the study was to develop regression models of the special preparedness of hockey players.
Methods and structure of the study. 135 hockey players of various qualifications and roles in a wide age range (from 9 to 19 years) took part in the development. Tests of special preparedness of hockey players were carried out. Based on the results of the tests carried out for each indicator in different age samples, a regression line was constructed, the statistical significance of the equation of which was assessed using the F-test at a significance level of p=0.05.
Results and conclusions. Among the indicators under consideration, reliable and statistically significant (p≤0.05) regression equations depending on age were obtained only for such indicators as: duration of maneuvering (running, dribbling, dribbling), implementation efficiency of the dribbling technique (based on the size of the regression residual) , the average duration of a throw (in the convenient and inconvenient directions), the speed of the probability of a throw (in the convenient direction), the average value of the duration of receiving the puck, the coefficient of variation in the duration of receiving the puck.
