Introduction. The modern socio-political crisis is associated with the security of the country, the protection of vital interests of the individual and society. Emerging challenges and threats are changing the focus of the activities of all institutional structures of society and, above all, education, since an important human resource is being formed here – a new generation of young people capable of protecting the national interests of the country.
However, the level of physical fitness of young people remains low, requiring constant attention from, first of all, specialists in physical education of higher educational institutions.
One of the most relevant innovations of modern physical education is the technology of sportization, which is able to build the educational process on the principle of conversion of high sports technologies, providing students with a free choice of sports practices, which allows them to expand the contingent of students.
Taking into account the external political tension in which our country has found itself in recent years, the target orientation of physical education in educational institutions should be associated with the use of means of applied sports, such as running, swimming, skiing, shooting sports, martial arts, allowing to form a professionally applied sports culture of the individual.
Realizing the importance of developing applied skills among students, the Moscow Government is implementing the project "Sports Class in a Moscow school" in general education institutions, which contributes to building a sports vertical from school to university. In higher educational institutions, sports culture is formed in the process of sportized physical education during the development of elective courses in sports.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the phenomenon of professionally applied sports culture as a new vector for the development of sportized physical education at the university.
The results of the study and their discussion. The professionally applied orientation of sports-based physical education classes is manifested in the fact that priority is given to methods of teaching professionally significant and applied skills, the formation of psychological stability, motivation and psychophysical readiness to perform future work functions and military service through active participation in the process of sports training. Thus, a social and educational demand is created for the formation of a professionally applied sports culture, which can be defined as the personal quality of a student associated with his psychophysical readiness to conduct work and safe life.
The professionally applied orientation of sportized physical education sets increased requirements in the field of psychophysical readiness and adaptation of the student's personality to the future profession. In psychophysical readiness, stress resistance, the ability to adapt to adverse working and social conditions are distinguished. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the risk factor that arises in the context of external and internal threats and conflicts.
Among the physical qualities that develop in the process of practicing professionally applied sports, one can distinguish general endurance, speed and strength. Along with this, a high reaction rate and concentration are formed, which characterize the ability to quickly navigate in non-standard situations, make urgent and correct decisions in changing conditions of professional and social life.
A feature of professional and applied activity within the framework of sportized physical education is the intensive moral and volitional formation of the student's personality. The ability to control his emotions, make decisions in difficult situations, and objectively evaluate himself become his most important personal characteristics.
Professionally applied sports culture is distinguished from basic physical culture by the fact that the use of applied sports allows you to successfully simulate the actions of production activities in various situations, including extreme ones [2].
The content basis of the professionally applied sports culture of a student's personality is such basic components as cognitive, motivational-value, activity-productive, emotional-volitional, reflective, which are formed in the process of educational and competitive activities.
The cognitive component is based on the integration of knowledge in the field of physical culture, professionally applied sports and is determined by the level of mental fortitude, which allows a future specialist to cope with difficult situations.
The content of the motivational and value component includes the values of the sports culture of the individual, which are formed in the process of the personality's internalization of cultural and educational potential, values and technologies of sports, as well as as a result of the accumulation of experience in physical culture and sports activities and filling it with personal meaning [1].
The activity-effective component is expressed in the systematic participation of the student in training and competitive activities.
The ability to receive and control emotions from sports activities, set yourself up to participate in sports competitions, and manage the pre-start state determine the emotional-volitional component.
A special feature of the reflexive component is the student's ability to analyze his own participation in sports activities, identify difficulties and correct errors in sports training, determine prognostic guidelines for improving sports professionalism.
Conclusion. Professionally applied sports activities within the framework of sportized physical education at the university make it possible to effectively form a professionally applied sports culture, which is understood as a student's personal quality associated with his psychophysical readiness to conduct work and safe life.
