Introduction. It is known that an effective method in adaptive physical education (AFV) of children with intellectual disabilities is a game [1]. Sports games have a correctional and developmental effect not only on physical and cognitive abilities, but also on social qualities, ensure the development of will, morally and motivationally enriching representatives of this contingent.
The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the game method in the process of AFV of adolescents with intellectual disabilities.
Methodology and organization of the study. As a gaming technology, we chose floorball, a rapidly progressing sport with a stick and a ball, safe, fun, inclusive and easy to learn. There is a minimum of contacts between the opposing players. In the center of the game is ball control, a quick pass and a lot of movement, which allows you to develop coordination abilities, concentration of attention, the ability to react, and other important properties [1].
The experiment (9 months of the school year) was attended by teenagers 13-15 years old with intellectual disabilities (GBOU school No. 76 of Kazan). The experimental group (EG) was engaged in floorball twice a week according to the method of extracurricular activities developed by us. Control group (KG) – according to an additional general education program with the use of outdoor games. The technique included a number of developed exercises in groups, pairs and in a playful way with various means of floorball. Among the features are the use of specific techniques with intellectual tasks and varying exercise conditions. To test the effectiveness of experimental effects, a battery of tests with mathematical processing of the results was used.
The results of the study and their discussion. As a result, the indicators in the 3x10 shuttle run test significantly improved in the EG (from 8.94 ± 0.7 s to 8.02±0.7 s). In KG, the data has not changed much. A similar picture in the "Falling Ruler" test (EG 32.6 ± 4.2 cm before and 28 ± 4.6 cm after). Testing the ability to adapt to physical exertion with the help of the Letunov test showed that in children of KG, the average index was 0.96 ± 0.2 conl.units, in children who were engaged using the game method, the reaction was 0.71 ± 0.2 conl.units. Checking changes in the functioning of cognitive processes showed that the speed of thinking (the "words per minute" test) The participants' EG improved by 25% (9.8±1.7 words before, 13.1±2.2 words after). The memory test, in turn, showed an even more impressive result (an increase of 33%), where the indicator before the experiment was 3.1 ± 1.0 points, and after 4.6 ± 1.4 points.
Conclusions. Among the advantages of the gaming method should be highlighted: physical and cognitive development, the formation of social skills, emotional well-being. Playing sports helps to increase self-esteem and self-esteem in children with mental disorders. They can experience the joy of achievements, improvement of physical fitness and successful cooperation with other people. Sports games can also help children cope with stress, improve mood and satisfaction from life.
