Introduction. The professional training of military personnel depends on the types and types of troops, the specifics of the tasks performed [1]. However, studies revealing the features of the motor activity of military engineers-repairers of military and special equipment (VVST) when performing professional tasks are extremely limited [1].
The purpose of the study is to identify the profile of physical fitness of military engineers–repairmen of the VVST for improving the methods of professionally applied physical training of cadets of the military engineering university.
Methodology and organization of the study. The scientific work was carried out on the basis of the branch of the Military Academy of Logistics (Omsk), which was attended by servicemen of military districts and cadets of the military engineering university - participants of the All-Russian stage of the Rembat competition in the number of 78 people.
The study examined the features of professional activity, professionally important motor qualities, a sample of test programs was made, and the profile of physical fitness of military engineers-repairmen of the VVST was also revealed.
The results of the study and their discussion. The analysis of the data obtained allowed us to determine that the level of physical fitness of the winners of the competition significantly and significantly (p≤0.05) exceeded the results of the participants who did not take prizes. At the same time, the physical fitness indicators also differed between the crews of the VVST (winners of the competition), which may be due, first of all, to working with different weights during the evacuation of various samples of the VVST. However, the results demonstrated by the winners of the competition, regardless of the type of VVST, corresponded to the highest qualification level.
To determine the degree of closeness of the relationship between the indicators of physical fitness and the time spent on performing special work, we conducted a correlation analysis. As a result of the correlation analysis, a high degree correlation (0.78-0.98) was established between the studied indicators.
Conclusion. Thus, the profile of physical fitness of the winners of the war games contest "Rembat" can be considered as a target setting of the educational process in a military engineering university.
