Priorities of professional training of a trainer-teacher: from theoretical-abstract to practice-oriented training

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the integration of educational and sports areas of professional training of future coaches–teachers.
Research results and conclusions. A distinctive feature of the federal educational standards for the professional training of a trainer-teacher is that the educational program is aimed at integrating two components: coaching and pedagogical work. In the process of professional training, along with sports disciplines, the block of humanitarian knowledge in the field of age pedagogy and psychology, and related training courses has been expanded. There are different opinions on the integration of educational and sports areas of professional training of future coaches-teachers.
In support of the integrative approach, a model for the formation of professional competence of a coach-teacher is proposed, based on a flexible educational system within a higher educational institution and based on self-educational activities and sports training of a student. Thus, the learning vector shifts from the abstract-theoretical to the practice-oriented orientation of the educational process.
The advantage of practice-oriented training of a trainer-teacher is that the result of training is formed professional competence and pedagogical skills, social activity and the ability to self-development, methodological culture and self-realization, independence and competitiveness.
