Objective of the study was to record and evaluate the indicators of heart rate variability in men of mature age living in the Far North, in the process of physical and health classes.
Methods and structure of the study. The method of cardiointervalometry was used to analyze the indicators of heart rate variability. The pedagogical experiment involved 60 men of mature age (40–49 years old), who made up the experimental group (EG) and control group (CG), 30 people each. In the EG, men trained in accordance with the developed cycle of health-improving sessions with elements of tennis, practiced indoors for one year. Representatives of the CG worked out according to the program of the fitness center in Yakutsk.
Results and conclusions. At the end of the one-year pedagogical experiment in the EG, a significant decrease in SI by 53.1% (p<0.01) was determined. There was a decrease in VLF by 26.5% (p<0.05), and PARS by 56.9% (p<0.01) and an increase in LF and HF by 97.7% and 155.8%, respectively (p <0.01). In the control group, on the contrary, the % LF indicator statistically significantly increased by 46.6%, LF / HF by 100%, PARS by 117% and, accordingly, the % HF parameter decreased by 36.7% (p<0.05, p<0 .01). Analysis of intergroup differences in HRV parameters after the experiment showed that positive changes were noted in the EG, in contrast to the CG. Pronounced changes affected such indicators as SI, which decreased by 108.3%, HF increased by 73%, LF / HF and PARS, which decreased by 100.7 and 231.2%, respectively (p<0.01). Consequently, the developed program of a cycle of recreational activities with elements of tennis for men of mature age had a positive effect on the cardiovascular system of those involved, contributed to a decrease in the tension of regulatory systems, and a decrease in humoral and metabolic effects on the regulation of heart rhythm.
