Introduction. Of particular importance in the psychological structure of a person's sports culture are heuristic processes aimed at the creative search for the most effective ways to solve complex analytical problems that require maximum mobilization, creative and intuitive potential from the subject of sports activity in a minimum period of time [1-3]. The content of the heuristic component of students' sports culture (hereinafter referred to as EXCS) is revealed in the ability of a person to creatively produce insight ideas and find effective methods of their implementation in the process of sports activity.
The purpose of the study: to substantiate the effectiveness of the methodology for the development of EXCS in the process of integrating creative and sports activities.
Methodology and organization of the study. The methodology of the development of EXCS includes in its content a set of heuristic methods of cognition aimed at intuitive search and creative production of insight ideas, as well as effective ways to implement them in the process of sports activity. To determine the level of development of the EXCS, a testing program and a scale of differentiated assessment of the level of effectiveness of the implementation of ideas at the stages of their algorithmic solution were developed.
The results of the study and their discussion. At the beginning of the experiment, there were no significant differences in the criteria and indicators of the development of EXCS in the subjects of KG and EG. At the end of the experiment, the reproductive level of development of the EXCS was established in KG. At the same time, the EG noted the creative level of development of the EXCS according to the criteria and indicators of convergent thinking: finding a problem, defining a goal, setting tasks, hypothesizing, the logic of the algorithm for solving the problem, the speed of finding the right solution, as well as divergent thinking: the ease of finding an idea, the novelty and originality of the idea presentation, the universality of the idea application, the multiplicity of variants of the idea, the intensity of the production of ideas and ways to solve them.
Conclusion. Thus, the results of the study indicate the effectiveness of the EXCS development methodology, which creates favorable conditions for the realization of the creative potential of the individual to various aspects of sports activity.
