Introduction. The problem of evaluating independent work in physical culture and sports (elective disciplines) with the use of distance and health-saving learning technologies in the system of modern medical education is relevant in connection with the transition to new educational standards and with the increase in the number of hours of independent work by universities, instead of practical classes with students.
The purpose of the study is to develop a system for evaluating independent work in physical culture (elective disciplines) of future doctors using remote and health–saving technologies.
Methodology and organization of the study. The experiment was conducted on the basis of the Altai State Medical University (AMU) in the period 2021-2022, in which 2,880 students of the 1st-3rd courses took part. As an assessment of the physical culture of future doctors, a remote Moodle platform was used, on which special tasks were placed. Every week students filled out a diary of self-control of their physical health according to G.L. Apanasenko, performed complexes of general developmental exercises, tests to determine physical qualities that were adapted to home conditions (for example, skipping, flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor and others). After completing the tasks, students posted files on the current platform in the form of video and photo reports. After a certain time, the same work was carried out, but under the supervision of a teacher. The results were subjected to comparative analysis.
The results of the study and their discussion. The students completed 98% of the tasks in the distance format. When comparing the results of the self-control diary in a remote format and under the supervision of teachers, there were significant differences: 56% of students had a self-control diary that corresponded to their physical health indicators, and 44% of students had various inconsistencies; 68% of students could not correctly name exercises during warm-ups and complexes of general developmental exercises, although all tasks were performed on the platform according to the requirements; 72% of students were unable to fulfill or confirm the previously set standards for physical culture.
Conclusion. The motor activity of students within the elective discipline of physical culture and sports in the process of self-preparation is effective only if they have a high level of educational culture, self-awareness and moral discipline.
