Introduction. At the present stage of transformations in our country, the search for new approaches to the modernization of the system of physical rehabilitation of post-stroke patients and the timely use of physical rehabilitation tools at various stages of the recovery process is becoming increasingly important [1].
The aim of the study is to theoretically substantiate the use of information technologies in the process of physical rehabilitation of post–stroke patients.
The results of the study and their discussion. In the process of physical rehabilitation of post-stroke patients, their motivation to restore health plays a primary role, which, in our opinion, is achieved by increasing the level of knowledge, literacy of patients in the field of physical rehabilitation, as well as interest in conducting independent classes with special sets of physical exercises.
Within the framework of this study, the solution to the problem of motivation formation involves the implementation of a set of interrelated tasks:
– acquisition of knowledge about the causes of stroke, its types and clinical manifestations;
– familiarization with the types and ways of using information technologies in various types of human activities, including physical rehabilitation;
– formation of knowledge about the methodology of the predominant use of various types of information technologies in various forms of classes, including self-study at home.
To fulfill the tasks of physical rehabilitation in the late recovery period, the following types of information technologies have been identified:
multimedia technologies;
telecommunication technologies (video lectures, video materials for self-study in physical rehabilitation);
Internet technologies (online consultations);
technologies for storing and providing information (author's methodological recommendations presented on paper and electronic media);
informatization of control and measurement of learning outcomes, restoration of movement quality indicators, changes in the level of functional performance, development of strength and coordination abilities.
Conclusion. The use of information technologies in the rehabilitation of post-stroke patients allows you to receive timely information about new knowledge and practices in the field of health restoration, systematically carry out functional monitoring to identify various changes in the physical condition of the body and apply appropriate rehabilitation techniques and tools.
