Phase structure and analysis of the technique of lifting the barbell to the chest based on the results of high-speed 3d survey and mathematical modeling

bjective of the study was to develop a comprehensive methodology for analyzing the technique of weightlifting exercises. Methods for calculating the space-time, kinematic and dynamic characteristics of lifting the barbell to the chest and the corresponding software have been developed and selected.
Methods and structure of the study. The motion detection method is highspeed 3D video recording with four cameras. Examples of the use of a complex technique are given. Calculated: the duration of the phases, vertical and horizontal movements, the speed and acceleration of the ends of the barbell bar, the force of interaction between the athlete and the barbell. Graphs of barbell bar rotations in vertical and horizontal planes are given.
Results and conclusions. Correspondence between motion characteristics and video sequence (storyboard) is established. Mathematical modeling is used to calculate the forces of interaction between an athlete and a barbell. It is expedient to use the proposed methodology in the training process of weightlifters and in the educational process of training coaches and specialists to analyze the technique of performing weightlifting exercises.
