Categories of «team building» in the construction of tools for content analysis of the information array on physical culture and sport

Objective of the study was to determine the degree of development of the problem of team building based on the content analysis of the information array on physical culture and sports.
Methods and structure of the study. As part of the study, a content analysis of a selection of scientific papers on the topic "team building" published for the period 2000-2021, posted on the electronic resource of the Central Industry Library for Physical Culture and Sports of the Russian University of Sports (SCOLIPE), was carried out.
Results and conclusions. The results of the content analysis of major scientific publications showed that the topic of team building is updated for the field of sports training, while this direction is not considered in the physical education of educational institutions. In the information content of scientific articles, topics related to team building are expanded by updating the problems of group cohesion, its impact on the climate of the team, improving the communicative qualities of team sports athletes, and organizing teamwork in a sports institution.
The results of the content analysis showed little interest of scientists and specialists in studying the problem of "team building" both in the conditions of physical culture departments of educational institutions and in the field of sports. Despite the poor development of this topic, the content analysis made it possible to identify the leading categories in the understanding of "team building".
