Digital simulators as a means of directed development of the psychomotor abilities of athletes

Objective of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of digital simulators as a means of directed development of the psychomotor abilities of athletes of mass categories.
Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work included four stages, at each of which pilot experiments were carried out, where particular problems were solved. The experiment involved 40 young men aged 18-25, representing 18 different sports with mass categories in the chosen sport. The effectiveness of the use of digital simulators aimed at developing the psychomotor abilities of athletes was evaluated.
Results and conclusions. The use of digital simulators in the process of training activities in the short term contributes to the development of psychomotor abilities of athletes of mass categories according to the following indicators: "eye and visual memory", "sense of time" (30 s), "fine motor skills". Digital simulators have a number of significant advantages over traditional methods for assessing psychomotor abilities: the possibility of remote use in non-regulated conditions; obtaining current information on the dynamics of the studied indicators; efficiency in obtaining research results; act as a means of assessing the psychomotor abilities of athletes; allow you to complicate the task in the process of research, without additional effort.
