Abstract
Objective of the study was to develop a set of means for developing special coordination abilities in table tennis and to prove their effectiveness.
Methods and structure of the study. In the course of the theoretical analysis, significant specific coordination abilities in table tennis were revealed, and a set of means for their education at the training stage was developed, which consisted of three groups of means: basic; specialized; game, taking into account the parameters of increasing coordination complexity. To test the effectiveness of the funds, a pedagogical experiment was conducted. The total number of participants in the experiment was 32 people.
Results and conclusions. As a result of the pedagogical experiment, the most significant increase in specific coordination abilities occurred in terms of static and dynamic balance, as well as in the ability to differentiate the muscle efforts of the legs and arms. At the same time, the increase in the tested indicators in the experimental group is more pronounced than in the control group, which indicates the effectiveness of the developed set of tools for improving the specific coordination abilities of table tennis players at the training stage of preparation.

Keywords: coordination abilities, table tennis, means, training stage, development of physical abilities.
