Thus, the analysis of the model characteristics of competitive activity at distances of 800 and 1500 m swimming in flippers for women showed that to achieve record results, one of the important factors is the high level of manifestation of the speed qualities of athletes and the ability to express acceleration with significant fatigue. And one of the possible factors causing the stagnation of sports results at these distances may be an insufficiently high level of manifestation of these qualities.
