Walking as a universal physical and improving means in physical education of the population

Abstract
Objective of the study was to theoretically substantiate the content of classes by various types of walking by the population of the country of all ages.
Methods and structure of the study. To assess the state of the research subject under study, a theoretical analysis of the scientific and methodological literature and statistical information was carried out.
Results and conclusions. The study showed that the problem of developing and maintaining natural motor locomotion among the population of the country, holding mass sports events is currently being updated. Walking as an accessible form of health-improving and sports activity is an effective means of developing the physical activity of the population of all ages. The paper presents the content of classes in the types of walking for each age category of the population. It also shows the required minimum of walking activities in hours in the annual cycle, the allowable pulse load is given, and methodological instructions are given.
