Abstract
Objective of the study was to theoretically substantiate, develop software and methodological support for the physical education of students at school on the basis of tourism means.
Methods and structure of the study. Based on the results of the theoretical analysis of the scientific and methodological literature on the topic of the study, observation of the practice of physical education of students in educational institutions, questioning and questioning of children, parents, teachers, the program content of tourism classes for students at school was compiled. The program material for the training of teachers for the organization of tourism classes for children at school in the amount of 72 hours is presented.
Results and conclusions. In accordance with the structure of the program content of tourism in elementary school, the general foundations and culture of tourism are formed, in the main school, students develop applied skills in tourism in everyday activities, in high school, high school students develop sports skills in tourism, tourism becomes a means of physical culture and sports. activities.
