Abstract
Objective of the study was to increase efficiency technical and tactical actions of the libero by improving the indicators of special physical fitness.
Methods and structure of the study. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, the sequence of coordination of game actions by a libero player before receiving the ball is determined, the structure and content of the technique for performing this element of the game are detailed, which is taken into account when developing a complex of special physical training (SPT) for free defenders. The developed SPT complex included four blocks of exercises aimed at: developing the speed of movement, speed of reaction, explosive strength of the leg muscles and coordination. The SFP experimental complex was tested in the women's volleyball team of RSUPESY&T in the 2021-2022 season. Six liberos took part in the experiment: three players were included in the experimental group (EG) and three in the control group (CG).
Results and conclusions. According to the results of the experiment, an increase in the indicators of special physical fitness of free defenders contributes to the improvement of technical and tactical actions in defense against attacking blows of an opponent. The approach to the development of complexes of SPT tools, taking into account the content of the technique for performing game techniques, as well as the sequence of coordinating the actions of the players before its tactical implementation, can be used not only for libero, but also for other game roles.
