Abstract
Objective of the study was to survey attitudes of the school physical education teachers to the physical education curriculum in the context of the GTO Complex reinstatement project and its progress.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for an online questionnaire survey of school physical education teachers (n= 199, 49.2% and 50.8% female and male sample, respectively) in Surgut city.
Results and conclusion. 52.3% of the sample was found unhappy with the still inadequate school physical education financing and equipment/ technologies despite the growing demand (as reported by 53.3%) from the school population for the physical education service. We recommend the research community to develop a set of qualitative, quantitative and practical physical education service efficiency rating criteria for the national school education system.

Keywords: questionnaire survey, physical education teacher, school physical education curriculum, GTO Complex.
