Benefits of new swimming skills test set for fire and rescue academy

Abstract
Objective of the study was to test benefits of a new swimming skills test set for Fire and Rescue Academy.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for the new swimming skills test set piloting experiment the first-year cadets (n= 50) of Siberian Fire and Rescue Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Zheleznogorsk, and split them up into Experimental and Control Group of 25 people each. The sample was tested by the newly developed swimming skills test set to classify the cadets into the low-, moderate-, and highly-skilled groups that were then trained by the relevant training systems. The Control Group training system was traditional.
Results and conclusion. The new swimming skills ranking test set for the Firefighting and Rescue Academy was tested beneficial for further swimming skills trainings service sensitive to the primary skill levels.
